A little fun. This is funny from my perspective. Maybe it will also help moms understand their boys . So… if you ask me to do something in Genesis, please ask more than once and e-mail me also.

I once read about a missionary named Fraser who was trying to determine which tribe he would work with in his country of service. He could chose either the northern or the southern tribe. He ultimately chose to work among the northern tribe but vowed to pray for several hours daily for the southern tribe. At the end of his life there were several churches and a total of approximately 250 believers in the northern tribe. In the southern tribe, whom he had prayed for daily but had not worked, there were over 10,000 believers by the end of his life. This move of God was attributed by all to the missionary’s prayers.
Church historian J Edwin Orr once said that every single revival movement of God began as a move of prayer.
Pictured here is a lake just 1 mile from Liberty at Sandy Bottom park. What a great place of prayer and solitude. That dock across the lake is one of my favorite places to go for prayer. I am sure some of you have places you love to go for solitude and prayer. The question that keeps coming to my mind is:
What if we all prayed like Fraser for God to move among us?
Not that we have hours upon hours to go pray. But what if we gathered before church on Sunday for 15 minutes to pray for our church? Our families? What if small groups of friends got out and prayed together for 10 minutes? 5 minutes? Every day? Once a week?
I wonder what would happen in our church? In our Genesis service?
